Mollens VS, Switzerland, December 12, 2018– Kaiterra, a leading air quality monitoring company, today announced that its CEO and co-founder, Liam Bates, will present a case study at the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Annual Meeting, held January 14-16, 2019 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis. His presentation, held on Monday, January 14 at 1:30 p.m. titled “Using Big Data from Air Quality Monitors to Evaluate Indoor PM2.5 Exposure in Buildings: Case Study in Beijing” will highlight the first attempt to employ big data from commercial air monitors to evaluate indoor PM2.5 exposure and risk, which may be instrumental to indoor PM2.5 pollution control.
“I’m thrilled to present alongside some of the top professionals in the air quality monitoring space who are setting the standard for IAQ technology and education across the globe,” said Bates. “Our presenting case study uses one of the largest sample sizes of monitors, 4,403 to be exact, evaluating indoor PM2.5 exposure for the course of a year. The results are enlightening—ultimately finding a correlation between indoor and ambient PM2.5.”
In addition to presenting at the IAQA Annual Meeting, Kaiterra will unveil its new Sensedge commercial air quality monitor at the AHR Expo exhibitor area at Booth B865. The expo, held at the Georgia World Congress Center from January 14-16, attracts professionals from across the globe to learn about the latest technologies in HVACR products and services.
Kaiterra’s Sensedge is the first indoor air quality (IAQ) monitor engineered for the RESET Air Standard for Commercial Interiors. The Sensedge monitors in real-time: PM2.5, TVOC, carbon dioxide, temperature, and humidity, and allows users access to historical data, helping buildings meet LEED, WELL, and RESET standards for energy optimization and air quality.
Attendees can also learn about Kaiterra’s portable, accurate air quality monitors for residential consumers, including the Laser Egg,Laser Egg 2 and Laser Egg 2+. They will have the opportunity to meet Bates and his Kaiterra team, who will be discussing opportunities to support new air quality programs in the U.S. and beyond.
